About UMOP

Who We Are ?
Uganda martyrs orphans project is nongovernmental organization (NGO) which was founded in 1992 and was registered as CBO at the district community development office in 2000. It has no religious biases and nonprofit oriented. it serves all the people irrespective of the social economic status and religious affiliations, by giving equal chance and opportunity to the target group.
Our Mission
To reach out and help orphans towards and other vulnerable groups towards self reliance and rehabilitate them within their families and communities by equipping them with knowledge and skill to exploit the available potential resources to earn a living.

Our Team
UMOP cares for almost nine hundred orphaned children. Many of these children came from the streets where they were in danger of drug and sex abuse.
